Who's Who in Catholic Life
“The Catholic Who’s Who is the most practical and important record in modern England. It is the record of how much of modern England remains or returns to that without which her civilisation will perish.”
G K Chesterton
In recent years this publication has appeared annually in June, which we’ve always thought was somewhat idiosyncratic. So we’ve taken the initiative this year, delaying the publication until December, and giving a 2007 – rather than 2006 – date.
As always we’ve been delighted and encouraged by the large number of responses we’ve received. Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor has noted that more and more people are affirming their Catholic faith, and are acknowledging its influence over their daily lives and work.
That’s reflected in the wide variety of individuals within the pages of this directory, which continues to expand as solidarity with the Catholic faith grows.
I’d like to thank all those who’ve taken the time to update their entries, and to recommend others, but especially to welcome those who are appearing here for the first time.
Thank you for this valuable public witness.
